Being Alfa Romeo dealers near Cincinnati, OH, we’re always excited when one of the vehicles we sell or lease wins an award. That’s why we’re happy to tell you that the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia recently won a prestigious title from the editors at Motor Trend when they named it the publication’s 2018 Car of the Year.
Every vehicle in contention to win this coveted title were closely examined by Motor Trend’s judges. The six key criteria that were scrutinized include the following:
- Advancement in design
- Engineering excellence
- Safety
- Efficiency
- Value
- Performance
The judges performed tests on the competing vehicles as they evaluated them. Each vehicle was tested on three different courses located at a professional testing center before the finalists were selected by Motor Trend’s editors. This year, the competition for Motor Trend’s Car of the Year honors included the third largest field ever in the history of the award.
